PT-Mate mobile register introduces new concepts in enabling pre-scanning of items to help cope with peak periods when the Point of Sale checkout registers may not be able to handle the workload. If a Point of Sale lane is out of action, PT-Mate may be used to scan items, display prices and total the sale, completely independent of the computer network. Alternatively, PT-Mate may be utilised as a Que-Buster to scan items in a fast-lane operation. The sale details are transferred to a Point of Sale lane for finalisation as soon as the sale that is in progress is completed. Ordering

PT-Mate removes any uncertainty associated with order preparation, by immediate confirmation that the item is on file. The system gives instant answers to questions relating to pricing, stock on hand, sales history, previous orders - in fact anything you wish to know about products to make better decisions when ordering.

Stocktaking

PT-Mate makes stocktaking just so easy, providing immediate display of product descriptions to confirm item identity. Additional information is readily available - current and alternate suppliers, cost and sell prices, purchase history, and most importantly the quantity already counted. Special features include handling of multiple sites and shelf locations.

Shelf audit

PT-Mate is the ULTI-MATE solution for price checking on the shop floor. Just scan any barcode and the PT-Mate Check-and-correct feature will instantly confirm product identity, current price, promotions, stock on hand, and all details relating to ticket compliance. Instantly update information in the back office PC by wireless comms. Price corrections as well as label requests are updated immediately.

Messaging

PT-Mate is your ULTI-MATE communication device. The wireless network provides instant access to data transmitted from the computer, as well as the ability to signal a response. Instant messages are provided to announce important events as they occur.

Stock movement

PT-Mate is the ULTI-MATE solution for controlling all movement of stock items. eg. Receiving goods on the loading dock and checking against purchase order, listing and costing damaged stock and accounting for items transferred to another location. Simply scan the barcode, enter the quantity and PT-Mate builds a complete audit trail of all stock movements. No problem with multiple locations and inter-store transfers.
